What do I do if I'm not receiving RepSpark emails?

Here's some guidance on how to change your email settings so you can receive RepSpark emails.

Overview

If you're not receiving emails from RepSpark, there are several places these emails might be hiding or getting blocked. This guide will walk you through the most common solutions to ensure you receive all important communications.

How it works

Email delivery involves multiple systems between RepSpark and your inbox. Sometimes emails get filtered, redirected, or blocked along the way - especially by corporate email security systems or aggressive spam filters. Most delivery issues can be resolved by checking a few key areas and adjusting your email settings.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • Access to your email account settings
  • Ability to contact your IT department (if using a work email)
  • The email address where you expect to receive RepSpark emails

Steps

Step 1 - Check your spam and junk folders

Look in all filtered folders where emails might be automatically sorted.

For Outlook users:

  • Check your Junk Email folder
  • Check the Other tab if you have Focused Inbox enabled
  • Look in the Clutter folder (if enabled)

For Gmail users:

  • Check your Spam folder
  • Check the Promotions and Updates tabs

For other email clients:

  • Check any spam, junk, or filtered folders

Tip: If you find RepSpark emails in these folders, mark them as "Not Spam" or "Not Junk" to help train your email filter.

Step 2 - Search your entire mailbox

Use your email client's search function to look for emails from RepSpark.

Search for:

  • repspark.com
  • @repspark.com
  • Your brand name (e.g., "Swannies")

This will help you determine if emails are being delivered but sorted into unexpected folders.

Step 3 - Add RepSpark to your safe senders list

Prevent future emails from being filtered by adding us to your trusted senders.

For Outlook:

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  2. Select Mail > Junk email
  3. Click Safe senders and domains
  4. Add repspark.com

For Gmail:

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  2. Select Filters and Blocked Addresses
  3. Create a new filter for emails from repspark.com
  4. Set it to "Never send to Spam"

Step 4 - Check with your IT department

If you're using a work email address, your organization may have additional email security measures.

Ask your IT team to:

  • Whitelist the domain repspark.com
  • Check if emails are being quarantined by security software
  • Verify if third-party email security services (like Proofpoint or Mimecast) need separate configuration

Step 5 - Disable focused inbox filtering (Outlook users)

Outlook's Focused Inbox can sometimes hide important emails in the "Other" tab.

  1. In Outlook, go to View tab
  2. Click Show Focused Inbox to toggle it off
  3. Or regularly check both Focused and Other tabs

Step 6 - Create an email rule (optional)

Set up an automatic rule to ensure RepSpark emails always go to your inbox.

For Outlook:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail > Rules
  2. Create a new rule
  3. Set condition: "From address contains repspark.com"
  4. Set action: "Move to Inbox" and "Mark as important"
