Microsites: Creating a points-based event

Overview

This feature lets you set up and run a microsite event using a points-based system instead of dollars.

How it works

Products on a microsite are assigned point values instead of monetary values.

Before you start

  • Reach out to our support team to enable this feature

Steps

Step 1 - Navigate to your microsite settings page

Step 2 - Configure Point Settings

  • Select Allow Point Based Event

  • Configure Total Points

  • Assign Point Value (the value each point should be worth)

  • (Optional): Enforce Point Limit

    • Ensures a customer cannot exceed the maximum number of points allowed

    • Points Warning Message: The message a customer will see if they exceed their point limit during checkout.

  • Click ‘Save changes’

Step 4 - Set Points by Package, Category, or Individual Product

  • Navigate to ‘Set Points’ 

  • Assign point limits and values based on Package, Product Category, and individual products.
