Inviting users to microsites
Invite users to your microsite so they can browse products, place orders, and access your branded storefront. You can invite users individually or upload a list to invite multiple users at once.

Invite users to your microsite so they can browse products, place orders, and access your branded storefront. You can invite users individually or upload a list to invite multiple users at once.
How it works
When you invite users to your microsite, they receive an email with instructions to accept the invitation and start shopping. You can customize the invitation email and assign ranks to users during the invitation process. Users with existing RepSpark accounts can log in with their current credentials, while new users will create accounts during the acceptance process.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following:
- Admin access to your microsite
- Email addresses for the users you want to invite
- User information including first name, last name
- A CSV file prepared if you're doing bulk invites (optional)
Steps
Step 1 - Access email templates
From your microsite settings, navigate to the email template section to customize the default invitation message.
Step 2 - Customize the user invite template (optional)
Customize the User Invite Email Template with your preferred messaging. The template supports rich text formatting and will automatically include:
- Microsite name
- Accept invitation button
- User's personalized greeting
- Your brand's logo
Step 3 - Add users to your microsite
You can use two methods for this: bulk, or individual.
Navigate to the Users section
For individual:
- Click the "Add User" button located above the user list
- Fill in the required information
- Click the + sign on the left to add the user
For bulk:
- Upload your user list. You can download a template by clicking the blue file icon. Download the template file for an example of the correct CSV format with headers for First Name, Last Name, Email, Rank, and other optional columns.
- Save your file, and drag the file into the box on the right.
- After uploading, review the user list to ensure all information is correct.
Step 4 - Send bulk invitations
Select the users you want to invite using the checkboxes, then:
- Click Bulk Actions
- Select Invite from the dropdown menu
- Customize your email message in the modal - this will add comments below the "Accept Invite" button in the email. We have some examples below.
- Click Send Invite to send invitations to all selected users.
What Users Receive
After sending invitations, users will receive an email that includes:
- A personalized greeting
- Information about your microsite
- An Accept Invitation button
- Instructions for existing vs. new users
- Support contact information
